Enterprise ID card production for printing houses.

A structured operating pipeline for student identity production. Manage spreadsheet intake, enforce standardized mobile photo cropping, facilitate prepress verification, and generate production-ready ZIP packages.

Free trial covers 1 organisation and up to 10 members. Governed by our Terms and Privacy Policy.

Operating Pipeline

From raw school data to print-ready output.

Four sequential stages enforce accountability at every touchpoint. No unverified records enter the print queue.

Stage 01Excel / CSV Import

Roster Ingestion

Spreadsheet parsing via SheetJS extracts student names, roll numbers, sections, and blood groups. Validates schemas locally before database commitment.

Stage 02On-Device 3:4 Standard

Mobile Crop Pipeline

Staff capture or upload portraits directly from mobile browsers. A built-in canvas cropper enforces exact 3:4 aspect ratios client-side, eliminating mismatched print dimensions.

Stage 03Real-Time Layout Preview

Administrative Review

Print shop managers inspect each generated card against actual print boundary guides. Requests are approved or rejected with specific revision notes dispatched back to staff.

Stage 04Streaming ZIP Output

Production Archive

Approved member datasets and cropped image files are assembled server-side into a single structured ZIP archive, ready for immediate merge into industrial card printers.

Technical Capabilities

Engineered for commercial print operations.

Replaces loose messaging channels, unorganized cloud folders, and manual photo cropping with dedicated prepress infrastructure.

Rule-Enforced Partitions

Multi-Tenant Data Isolation

Each printing house operates an isolated tenant workspace. Client schools and institutions cannot access, inspect, or query records belonging to other tenants. Security is enforced directly in Firestore database security rules.

Owner / Admin / Teacher

Granular Role-Based Access

Administrative credentials stay strictly with print shop operators. Client school staff and teachers receive scoped, tokenized portal links restricted solely to roster entry and photo uploading.

Universal Merge Compatibility

Format-Agnostic Print Packaging

Export archives contain validated CSV tables alongside standardized high-resolution JPEG assets. Compatible directly with Evolis, Zebra, Fargo, IDP, and InDesign data-merge production lines.

Full Production Traceability

Immutable Action Audit Log

Every status transition, crop adjustment, rejection notice, and approval timestamp is recorded in an append-only audit trail to resolve client disputes regarding submitted data.

Technical Documentation & Inquiries

Frequently asked questions.

Operational details regarding print hardware integration, data rights, and revision procedures.

Does IDMaker connect directly to card printing hardware?

IDMaker operates as the prepress workflow bridge. It ingests messy school rosters, crops photos to uniform dimensions, facilitates administrative sign-off, and exports a clean ZIP archive with manifest tables ready for your existing card merge software.

Can teachers submit records without creating platform accounts?

Yes. Print shop administrators generate scoped magic links for client institutions. Teachers access secure, mobile-optimized entry forms directly from smartphone browsers without creating passwords.

How are errors and mismatched student photos handled?

During prepress review, administrators reject incomplete cards with specific field notes. The record is flagged in the teacher portal for correction and cannot be exported until re-approved.

If I already have the 5-client pack, how does upgrading to 20 clients work?

Client capacities are fully additive. If your print shop starts with the 5-client pack (₹1,999) and later purchases the 20-client pack (₹4,499), your account automatically expands to 25 total client organizations (5 + 20). None of your existing client portals, student data, or photo archives are affected.

Is institutional student data isolated between different printing companies?

Each printing house has its own tenant scope. Database and storage rules, together with server checks, restrict access by role, organisation and assignment.
